What are peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids — typically between 2 and 50 residues — linked by peptide bonds. Many act as signaling molecules that bind specific receptors. Research peptides are made synthetically and supplied as lyophilized powders for in-vitro laboratory work, with identity and purity confirmed by HPLC and mass spectrometry.

What purity levels do BioGenisys compounds meet?

Each published lab report states the purity the laboratory measured for that lot. Current results are listed in the Research portal. For any other lot, request its report on the Certificates of Analysis page.

What testing does BioGenisys perform on each compound?

Independent third-party laboratories test select lots. Each report lists the lab, the test date, the lot number and the methods used. Independent lab testing on select lots. Certificates on request where available.

Purchasing & Eligibility

Who can purchase BioGenisys compounds?

BioGenisys products are available to accredited research laboratories, scientific research organizations, pharmaceutical developers, academic institutions, and qualified scientific professionals. We may request documentation such as institutional affiliation, a valid research purpose, or proof of laboratory credentials before fulfilling an order. Our compounds are not sold for personal use, athletic enhancement, or any form of human or animal consumption.

What is the intended use of BioGenisys products?

All BioGenisys products are supplied exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research, scientific investigation, and analytical reference purposes. They are not intended for human consumption, veterinary use, therapeutic application, or any clinical administration. Researchers are responsible for ensuring their acquisition and use of these compounds complies with all applicable local, state, federal, and international regulations.

Can I return or exchange a product?

Due to the nature of research-grade compounds, returns are generally not accepted once a product has been opened or used. If you receive a damaged, incorrect, or missing item, please contact our support team at support@biogenisysco.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. After review we will issue a replacement or a full refund, as set out in our Refund and Return Policy.

Documentation & COAs

Can I see the lab results for my vial?

Yes. Every vial label shows its lot number. Request the certificate for that lot on our Certificates of Analysis page and we'll email it within 2 business days.

Do you offer Certificates of Analysis (COAs)?

Yes, where available. Published reports are on the Certificates of Analysis page and in the Research portal. For any other lot, use the request form and we reply within 2 business days.

What does 'Research Use Only' mean?

Research Use Only (RUO) is a regulatory designation indicating that a compound is intended exclusively for laboratory research and scientific investigation — not for use in humans or animals. RUO compounds have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA for safety or efficacy in any clinical context. Purchasing an RUO compound represents a binding commitment that it will be used solely for legitimate in-vitro research conducted by qualified scientific personnel in compliance with all applicable regulations.

Shipping & Storage

How are compounds packaged and shipped?

All BioGenisys compounds are supplied in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form, which provides stability at ambient temperatures during transit. Lyophilized peptides do not require cold-chain shipping and maintain integrity under standard shipping conditions. Orders ship after payment clears. Ships via UPS, tracked, within the United States. We cannot ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

How should I store peptide compounds?

Store sealed at -20 °C. Protect from light and moisture. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Refer to the storage guidelines documented on each product's Certificate of Analysis.
